Stephen Madigan

Stephen Madigan, MSW, Ph.D., is a co-founder of planet-therapy.com. Dr. Madigan is committed to bringing therapeutic information to a wider audience.

Dr. Madigan's therapeutic work has been highlighted in Newsweek Magazine, the Family Therapy Networker, numerous international newspapers, and the CBC and National Public Radio (live call in shows). He is the co-director of Yaletown Family Therapy in Vancouver and Toronto, the director of training for the Toronto Narrative Therapy Project, and the founder of the internationally renowned Anti-anorexia/bulimia League. He has worked as a script consultant to over 60 TV and movie productions.

In addition, Dr. Madigan has produced six International Narrative Therapy Conferences and one International Therapeutic Conversation Conference on Brief Therapy. He is the author of numerous refereed journal publications and co-authored a new book entitled PRAXIS: situating feminism, discourse and politics in narrative therapies. Stephen recently participated in a Brief Therapy video series entitled "Family Therapy with the Experts."
